elastic scattering（弹性散射）：指粒子、波（如光、声）或原子/分子在与另一粒子或势场相互作用后发生散射，但系统的总动能不变（通常只是动量方向改变、能量在参与者之间重新分配），且不产生新的粒子或内部激发。在物理与化学中常用于描述核散射、电子散射、中子散射、光散射等现象。（也存在与之相对的 inelastic scattering“非弹性散射”。）
