ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
FreeWheel is hiring a Beijing based Senior Software Engineer. As a member of FreeWheel Engineering Forecasting Team, to continuously improve engineering practice, tools and automation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and build automation frameworks including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment in forecasting team
• Develop and build tools for automation tracking and reporting
• Work with a team of talented engineers to architect, design and implement engineering/testing tools and CI/CD infrastructure to facilitate engineering activities.
• Identify pain points and bottlenecks in current development, testing and deployment, drive the continuous improvements
• Continuously raise the bar for QA practices and need to be abreast with the latest technologies both in the company and industry and be able to utilize them to good effect.
Qualification
• Computer Science related major with bachelor degree preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
• 3+ years SDET or DevOps working experience, excellent performance track record in internet products/services are preferred
• Solid knowledge and experience in test automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Knowledge and hands on experience on Git, Jenkins, Docker, k8s and other trending technologies is preferred
• Strong coding skills in one of Python/Shell/Golang
• Solid DB/SQL experience, MySQL preferred
• Experienced with Linux administration and shell scripting
• Strong reading and writing skills in English; fluent speaking English is preferred
