围观Linus对Gnome的吐槽

在Reddit上看到一个有趣的帖子：

起因是Gnome一个早先的开发者写了一篇博客抱怨了内核开发的ABI兼容性限制了桌面的发展，然后Linus和Alan就狠狠地吐槽了一下Gnome，大体意思就是：Gnome就是个渣！

Reddit帖子下的comments里提到了一个很普遍的问题，很多Linux geeks不能正确对待自己软件中的问题，当用户向他们抱怨时，他们只是说：如果你觉得不好，可以重新找一个类似的软件。甚至很多Linux上的开发者认为自己的东西就是给专业人士用的，怎么复杂怎么搞！这才是Linux桌面失败的原因，说白了就是开发者的心态，他们总认为自己是对的！
所以我基本对Linux桌面是不报任何希望的，尽管我使用Linux也5年多了！

正因为这个兼容性问题才迫使linux需要nvidia驱动的源码，但nvidia又不给，linus就fuck nvidia了。

@akann 当Linus选择放弃了驱动的二进制兼容开始，就别想得到商业公司很好的支持。

It doesn't matter how clean and stable Linus and Alan have made the kernel. Linux is only as strong as its weakest app.
