Responsibilities:
As our Data Engineer, you should have a passion for developing a robust, real-time data pipeline. You love building next-generation software solutions and implementing large scale data stores that maximize performance and reliability for our use cases. In addition, you thrive in an environment where you're given the freedom to either build or hack open source tools to help other engineers access your data more efficiently.
Essential Experience:
Third degree black belt in OO programming paradigm and implementation using Java, Python or similar language.
In-depth understanding of inner workings of one or more of the big data technologies like Hadoop, Kafka, Spark or etc.
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB and etc.
Experience with distributed data warehouse Redshift, GreenPlum or others.
Have experience in building streaming or batch processing data pipeline.
Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks and have experience in integrate data from multiple data sources.
Solid understanding of distributed system concepts
Have an excellent understanding of scheduling and workflow frameworks and principles.
Bachelor degree or above
Ability to read, write, speak English fluently
